This isolation has created an atmosphere which has humbled me. Its put me in a very focused but hungry state which I like. Though to some it might seem like darkness, it’s allowing me to create light through my creativity.
I’ve been working on a series of large scale paintings Mostly women with historical undertones. I’m also embarking on a series of landscapes with renewed energy and gusto.
My children have been my muses in my latest work. I’ve also been getting lots of inspiration from watching documentaries on Netflix.
